Coen North/Upland

A lush courtyard unites the residential apartments of Coen North with the offices of Upland. The courtyard takes on new life throughout the day as residents have their morning coffee, office workers collaborate, and everyone relaxes by the fire pit as the day draws to a close. A sculptural wood screen gives a sense of privacy to the residential units. The screen rises as it moves closer to the units while providing a relaxing back rest for the benches within seating areas.
